Description

Architectural improvements to this building included demolition and renovation of the existing administrative space to construct new offices and a new server room for the University Telecommunications Center. This university construction project included a complete overhaul of all major mechanical, plumbing, fire protection and electrical systems. A large capacity generator was installed as part of this project, which included extensive wiring and utility connections. The specifications required installation of an Inergen fire protection system to protect the new Server Room. This project included a strict schedule guideline that had no room for compromise. Beckering Construction worked with URS and Ferris State to resolve multiple issues in an expedient manner to allow for a timely completion of a successful project.
