This project included the complete construction of the new five-story 5,625 square foot auditorium. The space features 28 foot ceilings with acoustical clouds to distribute perfect sound to every seat. The ceiling also features and exposed mechanical system. The stage opening is 50′ wide with 2,550 square feet of usable space. The space features two side balconies, a sound booth, lighting booth, professional backstage area and equipment, adjoining dressing rooms and a lobby. The auditorium has a 550 seat capacity. The state of the art High School auditorium speaker system us a JBL Stereo VRX932LA-1 Line Array System with a Yamaha M7CL-48ES Digital Mixing Console plus Crestron Digital Media Video system and Christie Digital projection system all controlled by 4″ touch panels. The system contains numerous components, amplifiers, outboard equipment and a hearing impaired system. The new mechanical and electrical systems are operated by an energy management system including high efficiency motors, energy recovery units and high efficiency light fixtures.
